Coating Types
The use of coated or uncoated HUAYUE® cellular glass insulation is application-dependent.
Aluminum Foil
HUAYUE® CGC Cellular Glass Board Coated with Aluminum foil provides better and more versatile performance with outstanding vapour barrier and weatherproof properties. It is strengthened by PET foil to withstand cracks and leaks.
Bitumen
HUAYUE® CGC Cellular Glass Board Coated with Bitumen has a factory applied prefabricated top layer of Bitumen. It’s widely suitable for roofs to accept site applied torch on membranes before the waterproofing membranes are applied. This ex-works coating is a thin bitumen coating combined with or without non-woven fabric.
The Bituminous matetials is specially formulated for use with HUAYUE® cellular glass insulation in the low to moderate temperature range. It ‘fills’ the open cells on the surface to protect the unique cell structure of HUAYUE® insulation.
Glass Cloth
HUAYUE® CGC Cellular Glass Board Coated with Glass Cloth are prefabricated coated with a combination of a two-component inorganic mortar and a glass cloth reinforcement to protect the HUAYUE® insulation system to suffer from thermal cracking.
Plaster
HUAYUE® CGC Cellular Glass Board Coated with Plaster is frequently used for interior insulation.
