What is Foam Cellular Glass Insulation?
HUAYUE® foam cellular glass insulation is a light and rigid insulating material. It is made from pure glass and foaming agents, through high temperature foaming and annealing. Completely inorganic and 100% closed cell, HUAYUE® foam cellular glass insulation provides a typical combination of physical properties such as incombustibility, superior compressive strength, 100% water and moisture resistance. This highly rigid building material withstands the most demanding conditions to be found in construction today.
Our HUAYUE® foam cellular glass insulation has proven longevity and reliability over the lifetime of the building and not deteriorate over time. Thermal performance and load-bearing capacities remain constant throughout the lifetime of the building. Its service lifetime is the same as the building and never needs to be replaced.

How Does Foam Cellular Glass Work?
The hermetically millions of sealed glass-walled cells in cellular glass insulation will not allow the transmission of liquid, gas or vapour through the material. This closed cell structure captures the produced gas in the cells, giving the insulating property to the material and ensuring a stable thermal conductivity for many years. No water molecules can diffuse in the glass cells and internal condensation is impossible. The result is a vapour-tight, incombustible material with extraordinary compressive strength.

Manufacturing Process
HUAYUE® foam cellular glass insulation is manufactured primarily from recycled glass, melting new raw glass and abundant natural raw materials, which are inherently mineral and thus environment-friendly. In our factories the principal raw material used to create HUAYUE® foam cellular glass insulation is melting new raw glass with precisely defined properties, the key to making excellent properties.
The mix of raw materials and adjustments during the manufacturing process determine the unique combination of HUAYUE® properties.
A material structure emerges with thin cellular glass walls, which are retained in a controlled cooling process. Millions of hermetically sealed glass cells make up the cellular structure; resulting in a vapour tight, waterproof material, good insulation values with an extraordinary structural compressive strength.

Volume, quantity, m2 and weight of a package depend on the foam glass block sizes of length, width, thickness and specific packaging requirements.
Boxes are strapped with transport plastic ribbons or sealed by adhesive tape. Compared with packing in hot shrink film, packing in carton boxes may increase the volume of transported blocks on vehicle or in container.
The pallet size is dynamically customized to fit the foam glass and box dimensions. The corners of insulation blocks are protected with cardboard. Pallets with cellular glass are wrapped in protective transparent film and strapped with transport plastic ribbons.
The customized OEM on packaging is available. The wholesaler’s designs such as logo pattern, packaging size, etc. are welcome to be customized based on their requirements.
