Overview
CL200 Borosilicate Block provides a lightweight lining system that maintains its excellent thermal properties, such as low thermal conductivity and coefficient of thermal expansion, even in fully saturated, wet gas or liquid environments. The material’s unique, hybrid formulation exhibits excellent resistance to thermal shock and high temperatures. It is offered in 6-inch and 9-inch (152 and 229 mm) modules, with standard thicknesses of 1.5 or 2 inches (38 or 51 mm).

Application
Huayue Borocell® CL200 Block is ideally suited for protecting the interiors of flue gas handling equipment such as ductwork, chimneys, stacks, flues and FGD absorber inlets/outlets servicing coal fired power plants and other industrial facilities as a lining. Normally used with a substrate primer and Adhesive/Membrane. It is typically applied to steel, concrete, brick and FRP substrates. The system’s closed cell borosilicate glass block provides corrosion protection and outstanding thermal insulation, resulting in energy conservation, even in wet, acid flue gas environments. Borocell® CL200 Block’s thermal stability makes it well suited for use in bypass/hot gas service conditions.
Borocell® CL200 Block Linings may be used as a stand-alone lining or in combination with refractories, acid brick, or acid resistant gunites and castables. General application areas include chemical industry, petrochemical industry, waste water treatment plants, flue gas environments. In these applications, a lightweight layer of CL200 Block behind the brick or monolithic lining can provide the necessary thermal insulation and chemical resistance to replace several additional layers of brick or inches of monolithic linings. Low thermal conductivity reduces heat transfer to the underlying substrate. These dual layered linings provide a unique combination of corrosion protection and heat conservation at a minimum thickness and weight.
Package
(1) Carton packing and palletized (wrapped with film), special packing is available on request.
For 1.5″(38mm), 60 blocks/carton

(2) Brand: HUAYUE INSULATION or Authorized OEM (your own brand).
(3) During shipment, keep cartons tightly closed, keep stacks upright to protect from collision. If necessary, reinforcement can be applied.
(4) Store in weatherproofing, dry and ventilated environment, no more than 6 layers stack is preferred.
Cautions
(1) Cellular Glass is fragile, shall be handled gently, avoid rolling or collision.
(2) Cut it with saw during application.
